Khmer Class Helps Cambodian-Americans Get in Touch With Roots

Immigrants often struggle to assimilate while retaining the culture of their homeland. Cambodian-Americans fled the Khmer Rouge regime 40 years ago and many settled in Long Beach, California. Now many Cambodian-Americans are trying to reconnect with their roots through language class. VOA’s Elizabeth Lee explains.
