India opener KL Rahul had a mediocre outing in the first match of the India vs Australia Test series in Pune. But after all the disappointing news, the 24-year-old cricketer had something to cheer about on Tuesday.

Rahul started the day with an unrestrained celebration of the fact that his teammate and World No 1 all-rounder and bowler Ravichandran Ashwin had started following him on Twitter. The Karnataka lad described feeling humbled and blessed.

Ashwin responded by tweeting, “Looks like your morning has started with a lot of (wink).”

Rahul along with the Indian team took some time off from the cricket field for a trek in the Western Ghats to rejuvenate themselves following their 333-run loss in just 3 days to Australia at Pune.

But how could Rahul could enjoy the moment with trolls out there in the world. One of them decided to spoil the mood by targetting the cricketer.

The troll decided to take on the role of the Indian team coach, actually couch coach, and criticised both Ashwin and Rahul. He asked the duo to concentrate on scoring.

But Rahul had the perfect response to the ‘coach’. He was politiness personified while tweeting a reply. He posted, “Plz come and teach us bhai. Im sure aapko pata hain kaise banate hain runs (I’m sure you know how to score runs).” And thus ended the conversation.

The first Test saw, Rahul scoring 64 and 10. It was the well-set Rahul’s wicket in the first essay that saw India collapse with the hosts losing seven wickets in 65 minutes. Left-arm spinner Steve O’Keefe started the collapse by dismissing Rahul.
