Nepal announce 19-member squad for Kenya matches

Kathmandu/Cricnepal – Nepal announced the 19-member squad for the upcoming two ICC WCLC matches against Kenya today.


The Selection committee headed by Venkatapathi Raju (ICC representative), Jagat Tamatta (Head Coach) & Paras Khadka (Captain) finalised the new list from the pool of 24 players.





The full 19-member squad is as follows:

Paras Khadka (Captain), Gyanendra Malla (Vice Captain), Md. Aarif Sheikh, Dilip Nath, Mehboob Alam, Karan KC, Md. Aasif Sheikh, Sagar Pun, Bhuwan Karki, Sharad Vesawkar, Shakti Prasad Gauchan, Avinash Karn, Sompal Kami, Sunil Dhamala, Dipendra Singh Airee, Basant Regmi, Rajesh Pulami Magar, Binod Bhandari and Sandeep Lamichhane.


Unfortunately, Kushal Bhurtel, Pacer Bikram Sob, Sushan Bhari and Dipesh Shrestha were left out of the final squad.


Nepal will play two matches against Kenya in March 11 and 13 for the fifth round of ICC World Cricket League Championship 2015-2017 at home. It will be recorded as the List A matches according to ICC.
